Anotācija: The Hui Brothers made movies that saved Cantonese films in the 1970s. Led by the eldest Michael Hui, with siblings Ricky Hui and Sam Hui, they created comedy classics that defined a generation and changed the face of Hong Kong films. Focusing their films on the Hong Kong masses and aspects of their lives - prostitution, gambling, and their desire to become rich - they combine wit and sympathy to make comedies that struck a chord with mass film audiences, subsequently entering the Hui brothers into the comedic hall of fame.

Front Page was produced in 1990 and the Hui Brothers have rarely appeared together in movies since then. Now the film is released in VCD/DVD for the first time! Michael Hui plays the boss of a collapsing magazine, sarcastic but ethical, who unwillingly recruits the service of a smart, ex-boxer Bill (Sam Hui) and a lame-brained photographer. In digging out inside stories of a rising starlet who is about to marry a tycoon, Bill and Fly suggest to their boss fabricating some scandals even if they don't exist, so as to boost up the sales of the magazine... While amusing you with the most hilarious jokes and witty humor, the film also deals with social phenomenon especially problems with the mass media in the late 80s and 90s, such as gossip tabloids, newspaper paparazzi, magazine's unscrupulous pursuit of sex and nudity, etc.
