<b>Stāsts</b>
Siu-Man (Miriam Yeung Chin Wah) ir Honkongā mītoša sieviete, kuras pamatnodarbošanās ir alus reklamēšana. Siu-Man ir pazīstama kā meitene, kura, lietojot alkoholu, nekad neiereibst un ar to, ka viņa joprojām nespēj atrast sev pienācīgu vīrieti...

Viņai ir viens pielūdzējs – lokālais bandas vadonis Brother Nine (Alex Fong), tomēr Siu-Man nevēlas atdoties šim uzmācīgajam kavalierim...

Kādu vakaru Siu-Man iepazīstas ar Michael (Daniel Wu) – franču izcelsmes ķīnieti, kura profesija ir pavārs, bet nodarbošanās – ceļošana. Michael ir atvēris pilsētā nelielu ēstuvi, tomēr viņa bizness neveicas, un ēstuve ir jāver ciet – tāpēc jaunietis ir kārtīgi piedzēries...

Reibonī, viņš lūdz Siu-Man, lai tā viņam dod naktsmājas... Sieviete piekrīt un vēlāk noslēdz ar Michael līgumu, ka tā viņam sniegs naktsmājas, kā arī izpirks ēstuves parādus, tomēr vīrietim nāksies dalīt savu biznesu ar Siu-Man.

Nepaiet ilgs laiks, kad abi līguma slēdzēji iemīl viens otru, tomēr problēmas ir tikai priekšā – dažādi dzīves mērķi, draugi un domas par kāzām, kā arī bērniem, ir tikai dažas no lietām, kas ir nesaskaņu kūdītāji...
