Anotācija: 3000 gadus atpakaļ Qin dinastijas laikā imperators, cenšoties iegūt nemirstību, pavēl saviem alķīmiķiem atrast formulu un rada terakota kareivju armiju, iemūrējot noziedziniekus un izstumtos mālā. Imperatora uzticimais kareivis Tiang Fong iemīlas galma dāmā Twon, par ko tiem draud nāves sods. Tomēr Twon paspēj nodot Fong'am imperatoram paredzēto tableti, pirms to iemūrē mālā.
Ķīnā 1930. gadā filmēšanas grupa atklāj daļu no imperatora apbedījuma kapavietas, kuru sargā māla kareivji. Tiang Fong, būdams nemirstīgs, pamostas un ir spiests redzēt sabrukušo impēriju un cilvēku mantrausību, kuri vēlas ielauzties kapenēs.
